Q: How do I sign up for a class in eCHRIS?

Q: Do I still need my supervisor's approval now that we have eCHRIS?
A: Yes! You should always have your supervisor's approval prior to enrolling in a City class.

Q: Where is all the training information in eCHRIS?
A: In the folder labeled "Learning and Development"

Q: What type of things can I do in the training self-service module?
A: You can review your training history, enroll and review class availability, update your language proficiency, as well as view your outside professional training.

Q: What if I see something in my training history that I think is wrong?
A: Call your department training liaison.

Q: What about education reimbursement balances?
A: You can review your Employee Development Fund balances and history of usage on-line. Log onto eCHRIS. From the Home menu click Self Service, Learning and Development, and then Employee Development Fund-EDF.

Q: What if I have questions on the Education Reimbursement Program in general (i.e., maximum totals, eligibility, expenses, etc).
A: Click the Employee Development Fund link on the top left of this page.
